The WHY behind the project.

It’s been a crazy time. 2020 presented us with more challenges and new scenarios than we knew what to do with. As we begin to open back up and socialize once again (kinda scary), we thought about how we could best contribute to our local community during this time of revitalization.

The best kind of traveling in our opinion is when you can pretend you’re a local, if only for a few days. The best places are always on the path less traveled, or found through a local recommendation. With this in mind, we created the Passport to Humboldt to be your guide to true Northern California. Whether you’re a local or visiting, there’s something to be found with this passport. Think of it as your local friend who can take you around to all of the best places whether it’s for lunch, coffee, or discovering a new adventure in-town.

Our restaurants, bars, cafés were some of the most affected businesses during the “Year that Never Ended” so we wanted to help promote these businesses above our favorite boutiques or stores (although you can find a few recommendations for those kinds of stores as well).
